Cozy Fashion is a must right now! Todays blogger session is very simple. Some sessions don't need much to give your client what they are looking for! I always try to communicate with the influencer about what they tend to post, since some don't use many detail shots so I don't want to give them that many of those types of images so all images I give them are useful to them, I do sometimes include some extra images that I love that are not their typical choices just to show them some different options!

I am sure we all know that I love to make my clients sit on the ground, but it truly is one of the best ways to create a different feel to a session. In this session I played around with having Whitney look away from the camera or cropped her face out all together to focus more on the outfit and the details. Sometimes I think that you can see yourself in an outfit more if there is as much of a face in the picture....does that make any sense?
This session just makes me smile. That bright dress was a dream to photograph and create some interesting movement with. We also had some fun accessories to play around with! The hat was a bit part of this session and we tried a few different close up angles that did and did show Heidis face.
A cute little spring blogger session from last year. I am looking out my window and staring at blue skies missing my clients and friends. Have accessories like sunglasses is an easy way to to make images feel a bit different! They are also a great way to ease into having your photo taken! not having to worry about half your face and all!
This blogger session was taken during the summer at NYFW and I felt so freaking cool shooting in the city. I love to use props like coffee, books, or magazines to help create some interesting detail shots to show rings or nail art!
Todays blogger session is coming in hot! RED HOT. I seem to over think locations for session and try to come up with the most wonderful and amazing spots when really you can do really cool things just walking around your own city. This fire station was the perfect spot to shoot Heidi's wonderful dress. I made sure to capture some fun movement and made her sit on the ground. She was wearing some lovely pieces of jewelry so I made sure to get some fun detail shots of them. I used selective focus to make sure your eyes went straight to them!
Blogger sessions are so fun and usually pretty fast. I try to get a handful of full body vertical shots that show the shoes and then add some fun motion shot into the mix. I will send a few portraits into the gallery as well. I love to play around with detail shots like a great close up of a purse!
